Crystal Lake is one of the lake-wrapped residential pockets that make up most of Lake Wales' housing. It is a car neighborhood — mid-century and later homes, generous lots, and a public park on the water.
For visitors, the draw is the lake access and the drive: the roads east of Scenic Highway run past working groves and open ridge views.
