The town
Frostproof is a citrus town that kept its main street — a short strip of storefronts on US-27 between Lake Reedy and Lake Clinch, twenty minutes south of Lake Wales.
It's a quiet stop, less a night-out destination than a reminder of what the whole Ridge looked like before the grove land turned into subdivisions.
